CAMP EAGLE Summer 2024

What is CAMP EAGLE?

A fun, safe, Christian-based summer day camp at Rosehill Christian School for children who have completed Bridge through 6th grade.

When is CAMP EAGLE?

Camp Eagle will consist of four, one-week sessions running from June 10-21 and July 8-19, 2024.

What can my children expect?

A blast of a summer including organized games, arts/crafts, waterslides, daily “Baldwin the Eagle Hunt”, all-camp activities, field trips, skits, themed activities, dance-offs, songs, cook-offs, weekly chapel, enrichment, awards, Camper of the Week, an end-of-camp overnight campout, and much more!

What are the costs?

There is a $50 one-time registration fee per camper, and sessions are $300 per week per camper (including field trips). Snack Shack and spending money for field trips are not included in the camp tuition.

What are the times?

The regular camp day will run from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM. Field trips will be on Wednesdays, and will end at 3:30 PM unless otherwise indicated.

Campers will be grouped by grade (groups may adjust slightly based on enrollment):

Bridge/K (A), 1-2 (B), 3-4 (C), 5-6 (D)

June 10-14 : Avengers Academy 2: Revenge OF THE MISTERS

Last year, after the evil supervillain, Mister Mister (aka Milo Maxwell) had sent Madame X to the Quantum Realm with the Cryptosphere, we had to shrink ourselves in order to save her! Unfortunately, Mister Mister completed his true mission: freeing his wife, Jane Maxwell, from her prison. We found out that she was actually inside the Cryptosphere all along! They both escaped and are now seeking revenge on us for freeing Madame X. We also learned that Jane Maxwell was a part of “Project Chameleon”, a groundbreaking technology for human invisibility. It’s going to be hard enough to stop the Misters from completing their plans--just imagine how hard it will be if we have to face villains we can’t even see! So here’s the question: What are the Misters’ plans against Camp Eagle and can we stop them? It’s up to you! Camp Eagle is now accepting superhero applications for our Avengers training facility. Come perfect your skills and help us defeat The Misters at Avengers Academy 2: Revenge of The Misters.

Field Trip: We have heard that Main Event in Katy has a deep dark secret. What could it be? We will have to go there to find out

June 17-21: ’Tis The Seasons!

Last year, we walked through a secret board game door--that actually sent us inside some of our favorite board games! We were able to reconfigure the machine, but this time it won’t be sending us to different board games, it will send us to different holidays! Are you tired of waiting all year for Christmas or that Thanksgiving turkey? Well, no need to wait here because we are celebrating them all in one week! Journey through our “Walk Through Calendar” each morning to a secret day of the year, punch your ticket, and return home when camp concludes. You’ll enjoy a “secret snack”, holiday parties, holiday-specific activities, gift exchanges, clothing, culture, “dance-offs”, competitions, crafts, music, games, skits, trivia, videos, phrases, and so much more from the holidays you know and love! But which holidays will they be? There is only one way to find out! Join us--at Tis’ The Seasons!!

Field Trip: On Wednesday, we’ll celebrate Groundhog Day at the Houston Zoo.

***July 8-12: Once Upon a Crime: Return to Storyland***

An adventurous saga ended last year when we helped Thor finally free the Land of Legends… once and for all. But, before we defeated Medusa, she freed her sister Jadis, who was frozen in stone. Jadis warned us that SHE would be coming after Storyland this year! Jadis has a secret henchman who is wreaking havoc on Storyland, and only YOU can stop her! We need every detective we can get to help us and Aslan solve crimes, find evidence, and exonerate villains live from our villain gameboard so we can uncover WHO is working with Jadis and save Storyland! Have you ever heard of Moana, Coco, or Zootopia? Get ready to enter and experience in front of your eyes the stories that you’ve always heard of but never thought were real. But this special land is in danger, and we need YOUR help to save it!

Field Trip: Aslan has sent something we need to the Children's Museum of Houston.

***July 15-19:* *Olympics XII: Fast Food Frenzy***

As Olympians these past eleven seasons, we have played as cities, countries, states, planets, and even former champions. We’ve learned the meaning of teamwork, and what it truly means to “win”.

This year, in an Olympics unlike ever before, we will be representing our favorite restaurants in a battle for the gold! Which restaurant will reign supreme? Will it be McDonald’s, Subway, Taco Bell, or a different challenger? Come enter our Olympic Arena once again where we will compete in various Olympic events, create team shirts, think up chants, design banners, cook foods in a “Fast Food Chain bake-off”, and participate in our daily “Trivia Quest” as we learn facts about all of our favorite restaurants. Campers will be placed on teams and will rotate and compete with their teams (and their counselor) for the entire week. Olympians--you are summoned to light the torch as ten teams battle for the chance to work together and stand on the podium at our daily closing ceremonies and medal celebrations. Which fast food joint truly is THE GREATEST? Find out at Olympics XII--Fast Food Frenzy. Our camp adventure concludes with the highly anticipated all-night campout on July 19 with a campfire, s’mores, secret games, and a classic game of Capture the Flag in the Dark on the football field (with glow sticks).
