***IMPORTANT REVISED SUMMER ATHLETIC CAMP SCHEDULE***
Our summer camp schedule has been revised due to the lack of camper participation. The All Sports Camp, Football Camp, and Basketball Camps have been canceled. Please contact the athletic office and we will provide information concerning various camp opportunities in our area.
The Strength and Conditioning Camps will be as scheduled. I want to encourage all our athletes, boys and girls, to commit the time to get BIGGER-FASTER-STRONGER this summer. Our new Athletic Training Center will be complete and ready to go as we begin the summer. I expect all our athletes to be in the weight room and not spending all summer in the video game room.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING - NO CHARGE
This camp will build a solid foundation of physical development through sport specific speed and strength training by learning the proper techniques and movements. The athletes will enhance their flexibility, strength, speed, power, and agility.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CAMP -11th & up
This program is geared towards helping athletes maximize their ability by developing strength and speed. This camp will teach the individual how to reach their maximum potential as well as proper technique to help minimize the possibility of injury.
VOLLEYBALL CAMPS - 5th - 11th Grades
Two camps will be offered this summer. Camp I is for the less experience player or those that have never played before but are interested in learning the basic skill. Camp II will be for the more experience player lead by Gold Medal Squared staff.
SOCCER CAMP - 5th - 11th Grades
Soccer camp for girls and boys will spend this week working on passing, trapping, dribbling, and shooting. We will focus in on individual needs and team improvement. Also work on vision and team work.
BIG LEAGUE BASEBALL CAMPS - Ages 10-12 & 13-15
The Big League Youth Baseball Camp is designed to provide the serious youth player intense instruction in all aspects of the game. Camps will be conducted by former Major Leaguers Charlie Hayes and Mike Jackson. Our camps are known for a "no-standing around" approach, players getting the maximum amount of work in daily and having a blast doing it.
