Head of School
Dean Unsicker

Mr. Unsicker came to Rosehill Christian School as Head of School in 2005.  For the twenty-four years prior to joining RCS, Mr. Unsicker worked progressively as an elementary school teacher, principal, Director of Facilities and Director of Development and Recruitment in Indiana and Georgia.  In essence, he believes in leadership that is relational, responsive, and relentless.  Mr. Unsicker seeks to make Rosehill Christian School an institution of regular prayer, spiritual integrity, fiscal responsibility, educational veracity…and most importantly unity, humility and dependence on God.

Mr. Unsicker earned his Master of Arts in Christian School Administration from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana.  His Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Bible was completed at Fort Wayne Bible College in Indiana.  Mr. Unsicker and his wife, Carol, have been married for thirty-three years and have three grown children:  Timothy, Beth and Michelle.  The Unsickers attend Houston Northwest Church.

Upper School Principal
Grades 6 - 12
Marshall Priest

A Houston native, Mr. Priest came to Rosehill Christian School as the Upper School Principal in April of 2006, after having spent 30 years in public school education, with 23 of those years in the Spring Independent School District. During his career, he served as a teacher, principal and curriculum director. A graduate of the University of Houston, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Education degree, Magna Cum Laude. He also earned his Master of Education from UH and has done post-graduate work at UH and Sam Houston University.

Actively serving at Christbridge Fellowship in Tomball, Mr. Priest has also served as an Executive Pastor for another local church. A man with a heart to follow after Jesus, his desire is to follow the command of Christ to "make disciples." With a loving wife of 36 years, Jean Ann, they have three grown children with wonderful spouses. Emily is a Music Teacher in the public schools, Wendy is a Speech Pathologist in the public schools and Eric is the Worship Pastor at Christ the King Presbyterian in Houston. Mr. Priest is looking forward to the arrival of his first grandchild in July.

Lower School Principal
Grades K - 5
Jo Ann Connelly

Mrs. Connelly received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from South Texas Bible College, and her Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary of Liberty University.  Mrs. Connelly has twenty years of experience in Christian education, including teaching and administration in both primary and secondary institutions.  She served on the executive board for Women’s Aglow Ministry in Dallas, has taught Bible studies in Houston and Dallas, and also gives private piano lessons.  Mrs. Connelly was married for nineteen years before her husband passed away, and has two sons.  The elder son is the principal of a public elementary school, and the younger will be graduating from Sam Houston State University with a teaching degree.  Mrs. Connelly has three grandchildren:  Ashlyn, Emily and Abby.  Her passion for education is rooted in the Fine Arts, where she encourages all of her students to find and develop their God-given talents in music, dance, art, drama and writing.

Director of Business & Preschool
Aimee Froelich

Mrs. Froelich is a graduate of Trinity University, where she earned her BS in Business Administration.  After a successful business career as a District Manager and District Director for Limited Express and Eddie Bauer, Mrs. Froelich began her ministry at Rosehill Christian School five years ago.  She was Vice President of the Rosehill Christian School Parent Teacher Fellowship for one year, served on the RCS Board of Directors for two years, and worked as the interim Head of School for one and a half years before assuming her current position. Mrs. Froelich and her husband James have been married for over twenty years, and have four children attending Rosehill:  Anthony, Jessica, Julianne, and Allison.  Mrs. Froelich served as Associate Minister for Preschool at Champion Forest Baptist Church for two years.  The Froelich family is currently active at The Way Fellowship Church.
