Rosehill says Goodbye to Sherry Johnson

It is with a heavy heart that I need to let you know we will be saying goodbye to Sherry Johnson. After many prayers and considerations, Sherry is moving on to a new career through God's leading. RCS has been her home for 18 years, and it will be a bittersweet transition for her.  I know many of you will miss her dearly. Please pray for her, pray with her, and take the time to stop by and celebrate with her before she departs. Her last day will be September 6th.

-Don Barnhart, Head of School

Victory for Varsity Volleyball

The Varsity Volleyball girls competed in the Bay Area Tournament last Friday and Saturday. They went undefeated both days until the championship game against Round Rock. The girls played their hearts out! They received second place and Coach Michel surprised them with a sweet treat from Nothing Bundt Cakes after the Championship game. Thanks Coach!!

ATTENTION!!! Holiday and Late Start Time

Please remember Monday is Labor Day Holiday so NO SCHOOL... and also remember that on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, school STARTS at 9 am! One Tuesday each month there will be a late start at 9 am. This time allows staff to collaborate, to train, and to maintain a spirit-led focus this year. Don't forget to reserve child care if needed by contacting Casey Herring. There is an added cost of $25 per family. There will be monthly reminders of the LATE START here in the Weekly News.

Spirit Days for Jr High and High School

Student Council is excited about the new year, and they are working hard to get everyone else excited, too! For all HOME Junior High and High School Football games there will be a specific theme. Students can get information about themes each week on the Weekly News, or via the REMIND texting groups.  For instance, this Friday is our first HOME football game and the theme is RED OUT.  All students are encouraged to wear red spirit shirts to show their school spirit.  Also come to the game that night for exciting halftime events. Stay tuned to the Upcoming Events section for other theme days.
