...but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:7

It's time for a couple of days off (no school Thursday and Friday). This means some free time with friends and family. RCS has reserved The Showboat Drive In Theater this Thursday night, October 19th for our Rosehill family and friends. You're welcome to invite your neighbors, family & friends to join us for a FREE movie night and FREE popcorn! Simply print the flier for your guests and they will be welcome to join us for a night of fellowship. There are two screens and the movies will begin at dark (approximatley 7:30PM). We will have Lego Ninjago playing on screen one and Facing the Giants on screen two.  The Showboat Drive In Theater is located just down the road at 22422 FM 2920. We hope to see you all there!
The Golf Tournament is just 3 weeks away and we need your help to make it a success! The golf tournament is one of our TWO major fund-raising events supporting Rosehill Christian School. We know that Hurricane Harvey has affected many families and businesses in our area. This year we will be giving back 5% of our net to a local organization that is helping Harvey victims.
How can your family participate?
Golf Sponsorships: Individuals and Teams welcome!
Non - Golf Sponsorships: We still have several Non -Golf Sponsorships including Hole Sponsorships that are available. Highlighted in YELLOW are the ones that we still need to fill. Click HERE for the forms. Contact Andrea Sharayha with any questions.
Donations: These tax deductible cash gifts can be from friends, family and/or businesses.  All gifts are very much appreciated...no gift is too small!
How do we qualify for prizes?
Student/Family participation = A FREE Lunch Ice Cream for your kiddos.
Families who raise $250 = the Ice Cream plus A FREE DRESS DAY on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017
Students who raise $400 or more = a Nike Elite String Back-pack in addition to the Ice Cream and Free Dress Day. Families with more than one child may earn one back pack per $400 raised up to a maximum of the number of students they have enrolled.
When we reach our event proceeds goal of at least $33,000, the ENTIRE student body receives an additional Free Dress Day on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017. Each of us has a network of family, friends and co-workers. Reach out to your network and see if anyone has a business that would like to use our event to grow relationships or use as team building. Every family can help make this event a success. Thank you so much for your help in supporting the ministry of Rosehill Christian School.

4-H ART CLUBRCS 4-H Art Club met on Wednesday, October 11th to make stained glass art.  You use a cheap frame and fill the glass frame (in the back) with Elmer's liquid glue.  You then use food coloring to swirl around in the glue to make a stained glass effect.  Once the glue dries, it becomes clear and only the "stained glass" effect is seen.
The Rosehill 4-H program offers some amazing activities for students of all ages. If you are interested in learning more about 4-H, please contact Christie Newell.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILDOperation Christmas Child is in full swing again! Start packing your boxes for children throughout the globe who need to feel the love of Jesus this Christmas season. Start with a quality “wow” item such as a stuffed animal, soccer ball with pump, or clothing that will capture the child’s attention the instant he or she opens the box.  Gift suggestions also include fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies to fill the shoebox. Check out their website for more ideas and what "not" to pack. Boxes will be presented during elementary chapel on November 1st. Contact Mrs. Justice with any questions.
