Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the
heavenly lights, who does not
change like shifting shadows.

James 1:17

PRAYER BREAKFASTOur varasity baseball team was fortunate enough be invited to the Greater Houston Prayer Breakfastg this year. Many team members had the honor of meeting 4-term US Congressman and member of the NFL Hall of Fame, Steve Largent as well as the President of the Houston Astros, Reid Ryan.

The heritage of our great nation has been built on prayer. The Greater Houston Prayer Breakfast was launched forty-three years ago to invite local business and professional communities to ask the blessings and wisdom of our Creator upon those in authority over us in elected and appointed positions. Their responsibilities are awesome and they need our prayers and support so that together, under God, we may enjoy peace and prosperity in this country.

We are thrilled to let you know our preliminary numbers for this year's net Gala:
-Approximately $101,000 towards Operating/Capital
-Approximately $    7,500  towards Teacher Funds
-Approximately $  21,000 towards Security Initiatives
We are so very grateful for His continued provision for the needs of this ministry. As a token of appreciation:

Old Testament: People, Places, Names, Faces
Rom. 15:4 claims that the Old Testament offers us comfort, patience, and hope. These blessings come from seeing God on and praising God from every page of the Bible text. We can find, learn, and then tell the stories of the Old Testament to the next generation. Let’s have fun together this summer.

Rosehill Christian is offering a Summer SAT Math Prep Course. This will be a four day course covering the Math Section of the SAT test. We will discuss the concepts that will be covered by the test as well as strategies for approaching the different question types common on the SAT/PSAT. This camp will provide both a solid foundation to prepare students for taking the SAT/PSAT for the first time and will also provide guidance for students who have already taken the SAT/PSAT and want to boost their scores. It is open to all RCS high school students, but is especially for those taking the SAT on June 2.
