Therefore my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15: 58

UNIFORM CHANGES

The uniforms with new logos are now avaialble at LandsEnd if you wish to purchase them. Please keep in mind the new and old logos will be permitted through the end of the 2018-19 school year. All students will need to have the new logo shirts for chapel in the 2018-19 school year. That is the only day the new logo is required for the next school year.
Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, Kindergarten through 12th grade will wear khaki bottoms (girls are still permitted to wear plaid skirts and jumpers as well as the polo style dresses on the LandsEnd site). All students may start wearing the khaki bottoms now. No need to order navy any longer.
Uniform bottoms may also be purchased at Academy Sports & Outdoors. They offer promotional pricing on their website yearlong at the link below:

PTO NEWS

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our 2nd Annual Father Daughter Dance and to all those that helped make it possible! It was a huge success & something that all the girls will remember and cherish forever!

5TH & 6TH GRADE ACT!

A new after school program called ACT! is starting on Tuesday, February 27.  Intermediate boys & girls will be introduced to basic acting techniques and will participate in a play, to be performed on the evening of Tuesday, May 22.  ACT! will meet Tuesdays from 3:30-4:45 on the stage in the new gym.  Cost is $50.  Wade Sharayha will direct and Grace Freeman will assist.
Along with teaching acting basics, we are also looking forward to working with the students on “character” development; their character within the play and the character of their Christian hearts.  We will talk about how to apply Scripture in our daily lives, remembering Paul's words to the Colossians, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as if serving the Lord and not men.” Colossians 3:23
Registration will continue through Friday, February 16.  To sign-up, please email Grace Freeman.

GALA 2018 IS APRIL 14TH!

WHAT IS THE GALA?
The RCS annual Gala is an event to support our wonderful school that provides children with a quality, Christian education. The Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year contributing towards our Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is our planned operating gap that allows us to keep our tuition rates as low as possible.

HOW DOES OUR FAMILY GET INVOLVED?

Live Auction
Contributions from ALL of our Rosehill families from preschool through high school seniors are needed for the Live Auction packages to be successful. Please contact Amy Hargrove with any questions regarding the live auction packages.

  • Visit local businesses to inquire about a possible donation. (info available on our webpage)
  • Collect/Donate Items
  • Schedule time to help set up for auction

Silent Auction

  • Visiting local businesses to inquire about a possible donation for our auction. (letter packets are available, please contact Amy Hargrove)
  • Donate items/services at a minimum suggested value of $25
(Our BEST sellers in the Silent Auction are often services offered by students such as babysitting, yard work, etc.)

ARE STUDENTS REWARDED?
Free dress day is offered to each student making a donation to the Silent Auction. If our goal is met or we have 85% participation, all students will be given an additional free dress day.
