The board of Rosehill Christian School together with the administration has outlined a five-year strategic plan that is focused on the future. This plan specifically includes the expansion of our campus to accomodate the demand for quality education in the northwest corridor of Houston. Rosehill is uniquely positioned in one of the fastest growing areas in the nation. Our school is located just minutes from the Grand Parkway. Anticipating this new thoroughfare, developers have purchased the surrounding prime real estate years in advance. The Parkway provides an ease of connection to Rosehill for this growing demographic. Studies reveal that this area may grow by 30,000 residents.
To address our challenges and to meet unprecedented opportunities before us, we are embarking on a 22.1 million dollar capital campaign to fund our need to construct a multiplex building at a cost 7.7 million, a high school building at 11.4 million, and a chapel for 3 million. We believe that expansion is critical for Rosehill Christian School to continue to make an impact on students, families, and the community. From the beginning Rosehill has focussed on the quality of Christian education. We are committed to growing in a manner consistent with our core values as reflected in our mission statement.

The Annual Fund campaign commences yearly on June 1 and ends on May 30 of the following year. Tuition at Rosehill does not cover all of the costs associated with educating your students. Therefore, the school must raise funds each year to maintain the high standards it places on education while remaining affordable to current and prospective students. Annual Fund gifts are used to fund this operating gap as well as other areas of greatest need on campus. Gifts to the Annual Fund are considered “unrestricted gifts,” which can be used wherever the need is the greatest. Restricted gifts, on the other hand, must be directed to the area designated by the donor, even if that is not the highest need of the school. Unrestricted gifts allow the school more flexibility in directing funds to areas where they will have the greatest impact.
Please Note: When family participation in the Annual Fund is high (90% or better), RCS is more readily able to obtain financial gifts through various businesses and/or philanthropies. These institutions expect very high parental and faculty support before grants will be awarded. The FACT that your family participates in the Annual Fund is more important to these institutions than the amount that your family gives. Therefore, any amount that you may be able to contribute is very helpful to our cause and is deeply appreciated.
Balancing our school budget depends solely on tuition and donations made by our Rosehill family and supporters of our school. If you would like to make a donation, please click to donate now.
The RCS annual Gala is an event to support our wonderful school that provides children with a quality, Christian education. The Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year contributing towards our Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is our planned operating gap that allows us to keep our tuition rates as low as possible. OUR GOAL THIS YEAR: $100,000. RCS families including past and present members, as well as others in the community who continue to be considered “family”. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, anyone who would like to participate in the evening is invited to attend. Please join us for this fun-filled night as you enjoy a "kid-free" evening with other Rosehill parents, staff, faculty, board and friends.
The Live Auction consists of contributions from ALL of our Rosehill families from preschool through high school seniors are needed for the Live Auction packages to be successful. Please contact Amy Hargrove with any questions regarding the live auction packages. The Silent Auction consists of items and/or services at a minimum suggested value of $25. Our BEST sellers in the Silent Auction are often services offered by students such babysitting, yard work, etc.
Our Annual Golf Tournament is fast approaching: Monday, November 7th at the High Meadow Ranch Golf Club. This event and the February Gala and Auction will raise funds to supplement the operating expenses that tuition does not cover. Each family can makes a difference, small, flat donations go towards the participation goal and helps the overall net goal. The closer to 100% participation this fund raiser gets, the better our chances at applying for future grants. Last year was our highest participation and the most money raised so far. It was due to everyone doing something. I'm sure we can do it again.
Your employer may offer a matching gift program for all employee donations to non-profit organizations like Rosehill Christian School or Rosehill Charitable Foundation. These matching funds can increase the impact of your gift with no extra contribution from you. We are happy to complete any/all paperwork to assist you in maximizing your generous donations.
Many CS donors double, or even triple, their donation to RCS by having their company match their donations through a matching gift program.  Please check with your company's human resources department to see if they offer a matching gift program.  We are happy to complete the forms for you once you obtain them from your HR department.
