Engaging the Academically Advanced


Rosehill Christian School provides a rich academic offering in preparing students for college. Below are the requirements for graduation from Rosehill Christian School.

Graduation Requirements
 
I.  Core Courses

 

All students will graduate with the Distinguished Level of Achievement and a minimum of 30 credits.  The following courses are required for graduation:

  • English - 4 Credits
  • Math - 4 Credits
  • Social Studies - 4 Credit
  • Science - 4 Credits including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Languages Other Than English (LOTE) - 2 Credits
  • Fine Arts - 1 Credit
  • PE - 1 Credit
  • College Prep - 1/2 Credit
  • Bible - 4 Credits
  • Other - 5 1/2 Credits from Endorsement Courses / Elective Courses

II.  Endorsements

All students must successfully complete one or more endorsement options from the list below:

  • STEM Math - Complete 5 Math credits
  • STEM Science - Complete 5 Science credits
  • Business and Industry - Complete 4 credits from a designated career cluster
  • Public Services - Complete 4 credits from a designated career cluster
  • Arts and Humanities - Complete 5 Social Studies credits OR 4 LOTE credits OR 4 Fine Arts credits
  • Multidisciplinary - Complete 4 credits in advanced courses, which can include AP and / or Dual Credit Courses

III.  Performance Acknowledgements

Students may earn Performance Acknowledgements in the following categories:

  • Dual Credit
  • Bilingualism / Biliteracy
  • Advanced Placement
  • PSAT, ACT, and SAT Performance

IV.  Community Service

Students must earn a total of 100 hours of Community Service as a graduation requirement.  That is broken down into 25 hours per year.
