WHAT IS THE GALA?
The RCS annual Gala is an event to support our wonderful school that provides children with a quality, Christian education. The Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year contributing towards our Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is our planned operating gap that allows us to keep our tuition rates as low as possible.

WHO COMES TO THE GALA?
RCS families including past and present members, as well as others in the community who continue to be considered “family”. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, anyone who would like to participate in the evening is invited to attend. Please join us for this fun-filled night as you enjoy a "kid-free" evening with other Rosehill parents, staff, faculty, board and friends.

HOW DOES OUR FAMILY GET INVOLVED?
Live Auction
Contributions from ALL of our Rosehill families from preschool through high school seniors are needed for the Live Auction packages to be successful. Please contact Amy Hargrove with any questions regarding the live auction packages.
-Visit local businesses to inquire about a possible donation. (letter packets are available, please contact Amy Hargrove)
-Collect/Donate Items
-Schedule time to help set up for auction

Silent Auction
- Visiting local businesses to inquire about a possible donation for our auction. (letter packets are available, please contact Amy Hargrove)
-Donate items/services at a minimum suggested value of $25
(Our BEST sellers in the Silent Auction are often services offered by students such babysitting, yard work, etc.)

WHERE CAN I FIND THE DONATION DOCUMENTS I NEED?
Donating an item? for items are in triplicate and can be picked up in the front office with Karen Kelso.
Soliciting for donations? Community Friend Letter and 501(c)(3) statement

Purchasing items for the Gala yourself? Be sure to have a Tax Exempt Form on hand.

ARE STUDENTS REWARDED?
Free dress day is offered to each student making a donation to the Silent Auction. If our goal is met or we have 85% participation, all students will be given an additional free dress day.

WHERE IS THE GALA?
This year the Gala will be held in our new multiplex building on campus. 

WHAT DO I WEAR?
The evening will be casual, so feel free to wear jeans!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE GALA?
If this is your first RCS Gala, you will want to know what to expect. By purchasing a ticket to the Gala, you have already done your part to contribute towards our participation goal. Just plan to join us for dinner and fellowship and let everything else fall into place. You will want to walk through the silent auction and see if any of the items appeal to you. After dinner, the Live Auction will serve as entertainment as you watch our well put together packages fought for by the highest bidders. You are under no obligation to purchase at the auctions.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
We want our families to have a wonderful evening and parents to be able to enjoy mingling with each other. Unfortunately, children are not invited to the Gala.
