Christian Worldview Philosophy Statement
In believing all truths are Biblically based, all RCS personnel, who are born again believers in Jesus Christ, will create an environment committed to promoting a lifelong relationship with Jesus that encompasses all aspects of life. RCS intends to take Biblical truths beyond classroom instruction to produce within its constituents a comprehensive lifestyle of a Christ follower.
As RCS enters a relationship with its students, students are expected to be prepared for college upon graduation. This is accomplished with a challenging curriculum that instills critical thinking skills, an extracurricular program that promotes self-discipline and a faculty and staff that will take the time to challenge the student to reach their individual highest potential.
As Christ expects excellence in our pursuit of holiness, RCS will promote an environment that leads to holiness and righteousness. This is accomplished by high standards and expectations of character, honor, and discipline by faculty, administration, and students. Godly character is promoted in the classroom, in the athletic environment, through extra curricular activities and permeates the complete breadth of the school.
It is RCS’ desire to produce young men and women of honor and academic standing to make a difference in the community wherever God leads them.
Morality Statement
Rosehill Christian School’s Biblical role is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ-like. Of necessity, this involves the school’s understanding and belief of what qualities or characteristics exemplify a Christ-like life. The school reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student if the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home or the activities of the student are counter to or are in opposition to the Biblical lifestyle the school teaches. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, participating in, supporting, or condoning sexual immorality, homosexual activity, or bisexual activity; promoting such practices or being unable to support the moral principles of the school. (See Leviticus 20:13 and Romans 1:27)
