Lunch Program: Student Food Service

 

Kindergarten – 12th Grade

September 2, 2008- May 28, 2009

 

 

RCS is pleased to offer an optional hot lunch program for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Should you have any additional questions, please contact Mrs. Neda Cox (ncox@rcseagles.org).  Although she will do her best to promptly get back to you, please keep in mind that she only checks her email/ messages in the afternoon each day.

 

  • All lunch / breakfast orders are placed on line.  If you do not have access to a computer, you are welcome to use one of the computers in our media center during regular school hours.

 

Please go to www.rcseagles.org ;  once you are there, please follow the quick link to Ren-Web, then proceeds as follows:

 

  • Click on Lunch Menu Tab
  • Click on Student’s name
  • Go to Create Web Order
  • Update Quantity
  • Order Items
  • The last day to place an order is the 3rd Thursday of the month prior to the month you are ordering for.  (i.e.  if you are ordering for September, orders must be placed by 5:00 on August 21, 2008).  Please note that these deadlines will be strictly adhered to facilitate the ordering of food items at the best cost available.
  •  Lunch orders may only be placed for the following month.  Once orders have been closed out, they may not be changed.  As RCS must pay for the items ordered, refunds are not available due to illness, schedule changes etc. 

 

  • Lunch charges will be posted to your family account each month.  Please only send cash for paper/plastic products and/or milk & ice cream. 

 

Lunch Menus:


 Breakfast

  • Typically offered on the second Tuesday of each month
  • Chick-fil-a Breakfast
  • Cost:  $2.65 - $3.75

Chick-fil-A Mondays

 

  • Offered most Mondays
  • Includes: Item(s) ordered, chips, desert & milk
  • Cost: $4.50 - $6.00

Tuesdays -- Thursdays

 

  • Menu varies
  • Includes: vegetable, choice of salads or fruit & milk
  • Single serving entrée-$4.25
  • Double serving entrée-$5.25

Pizza Fridays

 

  • Offered most Fridays
  • Includes: Pizza, salad & milk
  • Single serving - $4.25
  • Double serving - $5.25
  • Additional slices (limited quantities) - $3.00
  • If any left over pizza - $11/pizza and/or $3.00/slice

Additional Offerings:

 
  • Packet of cutlery (for students who bring their lunch & are in need of utensils)  - $ 0.25 cash or if direct billed $1.00
  • Paper plate (for students who bring their lunch & are in need of a plate for the microwave) - $ 0.10 per plate or if direct billed $1.00
  • Disposable cup (for students who bring their lunch & would like a cup of water with lunch) - $ 0.10 per cup or if direct billed $1.00
  • Milk (white or chocolate) - $ 0.75
  • Ice Cream - $1.00 - $1.25

*Please note:  as students are not always aware of the financial implications of their requests, please review this program with your children. 


Students without a lunch:

Students who do not have a lunch will be served a peanut butter sandwich / a cheese sandwich, salad & milk with a $5 charge posted to the family’s account.  If available, cheese pizza may be offered as an additional option.
