Art

The art program at RCS is designed to encourage student creativity, imagination, individual expression and skill development. Exposure, participation, and appreciation of art are integral parts of the curriculum. As students progress through the art program, they are exposed to more advanced artistic techniques and materials. Emphasis is placed on observational and technical skills, problem solving, personal style and conceptual thinking as they explore a variety of artistic mediums. Students are also introduced to the history and theories of many famous artists.
