Rosehill graduated its first class in 2000. As our school continues to grow we realize the investment and commitment made by prior graduates that helped to shape who we are today. Today our Alumni continue to impact others for Christ all over America and the world. It is amazing to see the legacy that our alumni continue to leave on our current students and families. We have had students participate in college sports, local and state government, as well as mission opportunities across the world.
Our alumni invest in the lives of our current students by giving back in several ways including mentoring, giving financial support, and serving as role models.
We are always interested in what is happening in the lives of our alumni and how we can share that news with faculty, students, parents, and fellow alumni. Please feel free to send any updates to Sherry Johnson at sjohnson@rcseagles.org .

"Being part of the first class to graduate from Rosehill Christian School in 2000 was no ordinary event. Since there were only four of us in our class I remember how fun it was to get to know each other in a close way. God taught me a lot during my time at RCS and for that I am thankful. Because we were the first class to graduate, we had the rare opportunity to help make lasting decisions for the senior classes. For example, we were able to help decide what color gown to graduate in as well as coming up with special awards such as The Eagle Award. I always felt like the staff and students alike were so friendly and made you feel like part of a big family. I hope and pray that the students who continue to be influenced at RCS will take away many positive insights, but most importantly, I hope each student will have a desire to know God more ...that he or she would have a solid relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. In the end, that is all that matters."
Allison Bennett Flippen - RCS Class of 2000
Looking back at my time at RCS, it has been difficult to find a single event that made it such a rewarding experience. Without question, RCS challenged me academically. I remember the long nights of agonizing study over AP Biology or Algebra 2. All that goes without even mentioning Chemistry, which was not, and, sorry Mrs. Menegaz, is not a friend of mine until this day. However, as I look back, I don’t remember the learning alone being the essence of what made RCS a wonderful school: it was the people.
In an increasingly secular world that teaches my generation that knowledge is power, I needed something far more important than mere information. I am part of a generation that has more access to more information than any other generation. We “know” many things, but somehow, our world does not seem to be better off. In fact, one only needs to read a newspaper or watch the evening news to see how morally bereft we are as a nation.
At RCS I learned the difference between mere knowledge and wisdom. My teachers at RCS taught me this. Everything at RCS was drenched in wisdom. This was a group of men and women committed to teaching children and young adults the information they needed to know, but more importantly, what this information or knowledge has to do with the way we live. This Biblical principle is so entrenched in the way the staff at RCS thinks I don’t even remember this being verbalized by a single one of them, and yet it is the most important lesson I have ever learned from any of them. From debates with Mr. Cooper about everything under the sun, to the Spiritual Emphasis retreats, to paper after paper, and project after project, I learned the underlying message that knowledge alone is not enough. Anyone can memorize fact after fact, but true success comes to those who have the wisdom to know how to use that knowledge for the glory of Christ.
I went on to attend Dallas Baptist University, and graduated with a B.A. in Theology, and I plan on getting my masters at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas. RCS taught me how to think critically and write well. I did very well in college because of all I learned at RCS, but it was not that “knowledge” alone that helped me. It was the wisdom I learned to walk in while at RCS. I am thankful for an environment that taught me so much about how to live and how to serve.

"Finally off to E. Asia! God not only used Rosehill High School to prepare me for graduate school but also to prepare my heart for the mission field. One of the things I am so grateful for, looking back on the past decade, is the three years I spent at Rosehill. The healthy community there helped me develop my personal strengths academically, interpersonal, and spiritually. The culture at Rosehill Christian School fosters a positive learning environment which equipped me to not only face the challenges of graduate school but to graduate top of my class from the Physician Assistant program at UT Health Science Center. God also used Rosehill to instill in me a passion to pursue excellence to His glory! I am looking forward to what God has in store as I prepare to move to E. Asia for full time medical missions and church development."
