Current Focus

The Rosehill Charitable Foundation was established in 2004, with the stated purpose of enhancing and supporting Rosehill Christian School (RCS).The Foundation’s current focus is supplementing the salaries of our valuable faculty by providing merit-based bonus incentives for the 2008-2009 school year. Each dollar donated will be fully matched by the Foundation, thus doubling the giving power of all contributions. The Foundation has pledged $60,000 towards this effort, when, matched with your dollar, provides $120,000 in funds to attract and retain the best and brightest faculty and staff.  Recipients of the merit-based incentives will be decided upon by the administration of Rosehill Christian School, through impartial and structured evaluation of each teacher’s classroom performance and potential.  While pursuing donations is critical to the success of RCS, the leadership prefers to encourage giving from the heart. Every charitable gift helps fulfill the mission of the school, which is to provide excellence in Christ-Centered education as an extension of the Christian home.

The primary and most pressing interest of the Rosehill Charitable Foundation is raising the income of the talented and highly valued teaching staff at Rosehill Christian School. To this effect, the Board of Directors of the Foundation has voted to implement a matching program dedicated solely to the supplementation of faculty compensation.

The Board of Directors of the Rosehill Charitable Foundation has agreed to set aside $60,000 for this matching program.  Thus, the Foundation is seeking up to $60,000 in donations from generous school-family donors, all of which will be fully matched by the Foundation.

This $120,000 will then be given to Rosehill Christian School, and used solely to increase teachers compensation through objective, merit-based incentives. This will allow Rosehill Christian School to keep teacher turnover low, retain high-quality instructors, and keep tuition lower than other private schools in the area.

Planned Giving
Planned giving is a growing phenomenon in American society. Once only a small part of sound financial planning, planned giving has become a key component. One might say that either you can plan your charitable giving or you can let Uncle Sam plan it for you. Planned giving addresses charitable giving while you are alive and directs giving once you are deceased.  We are available to assist you in making decisions regarding bequests, endowments and planned giving. If we can answer any questions about the Foundation, charitable giving or Rosehill Christian School, please contact us.
