Friday and Saturday, May 2nd and 3rd our Varsity Track Team will be competeting in the State Track Meet in Waco. Robert Beach will be competing in the shot put. He placed 3rd in the event at the regional meet. Chase Oliver will be competing in the high jump and long jump. He place 1st in both events at the regional meet. Saturday, Johonna Cox will compete in the 400m dash. She placed 4th in the event at the regional meet. Go Team.
The Baseball Team ended their season Saturday, April 26, with a heartbreaker 7-5 loss against Our Lady of the Hills of Kerrville in the first round of playoffs. Although they were a young team this season, they finished 3rd in district play.
They are looking forward to next season hoping to take the team to state in the next few years.
Thanks to Coach Cooper, Coach Maulsby, Coach Curtis and Coach Harris for a great season.
 
The Lady Eagles' Varsity Softball team finished a disappointing season with an 11 - 1 loss to Shiner in the first round of the TAPPS 2A finals. Although the team did not have a winning season, it was a learning experience for many new, young players.
Thanks to the senior leadership of this year's team - Kaithlyn Danielson (catcher), Amanda Haymaker (first base), and Rebecca Allen (short stop). Candace Danielson and Julie Nelson (juniors) continued to be impressive at pitcher and third base (respectively). The infield was rounded out with a fine performance by sophomore Christine Menegaz, and the outfield players Kaithlyn Burke, Kennedy Hardman, Mande Driggers, and Amanda Miller represent the future of Lady Eagles' softball!
Thanks also to Stephani Michel, who due to injury was unable to play, but managed the team and kept the score book. A HUGE thanks to all of our fans who supported the team this year. Looking forward to next season.......Cindy Briner and Stacie Michel (coaches)
