Senior Graduation
Rosehill graduated its 9th senior class on Saturday, May 17 2008 at Southwinds Baptist Church. Coach Len Shelby was the commencement speaker.
The facts about the class of 2008:
Five students have older siblings who are already alumni of RCS.
Eight have younger siblings still attending RCS.
13 of the 19 have been through their entire high school experience together. Six joined the class mid-stream.
**Amy Ball, Jef Fry, Leah Hegar, Gabby Juneau and Josh Rikard have attended RCS from Kindergarten through graduation, and the most recent addition began their senior year.
17 of the 19 will be moving this summer to continue their education.
This RCS graduating class will be attending 9 different colleges and universities next year.
6 will be attending Christian colleges and universities.
This graduating class has been offered approximately $205,000 in scholarships.
7 (37%) of these graduates have been inducted into the National Honor Society.
16 (84%) have taken at least one honors class.
16 (84%) have taken at least one college class for dual credit.
11 (58%) have earned the Honors Diploma.
Over half (11) of the class is graduating with Honors.
The average RCS GPA of this class is 3.61.
100 percent of the class will be attending a college or university in the fall.

8th Grade Promotion
Today we had our 8th grade promotion, welcoming our students into High school. Mr. Cooper, HS History teacher and Baseball coach was our speaker. Julie Nelson, Jr Class President also gave a speech welcoming our class of 2102.
Karly Krantz and Justin Nelson Received the Principal's Award and Anthony Froelich and
Jordan Rikard received the Citizenship awards. Victoria Zulim aalso received the Daughters of the American Revolution Award. Congratulations to all of our 8th graders on their accomplishments.
