HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

Coaches Len Shelby, Max Harris, Tom Greenfield and Byron Johnson.
“We are physically bigger, faster and stronger than we were last year. We will be better defensively, as well.
This weekend we will be going up against a very tough test when the team opens up the season against the #1 ranked six-man team in Division 1, Rockwall Heritage. We also will be playing the reigning State champions, Fredericksburg Heritage on Sept. 19, but we are up to the challenges.
We want to play the best right out of the chute to raise our level of play for the season. We may get humbled early, but we will know what we need to do to be successful in the playoffs.
I love my team. They have great Christian character, a strong work ethic, and small egos. That will make the season great no matter how many we win or lose.
Our Varsity team plays Rockwall tonight at 7:30 while the JV team will play Saturday at 11:00am in Rockwall.

Coaches Ryan Anthony, Kenneth Edwards, Kevin Burke, Breck Powers and Henry Villarreal.
The Rosehill Christian Junior High Football team has been working hard the past three weeks in preparation for the upcoming season. They have been battling the heat but are getting better everyday. Everybody has been working hard while having the time of their lives. We are excited about this upcoming season and can’t wait for it to begin. We will start our season off next week on Thursday, September 4th, when we kick off at 4:30 PM in Pasadena against First Baptist Pasadena. We would love to have everyone come out and support our guys and appreciate all their hard work. Go Eagles!
Varsity, JV and Junior High played Northland Christian School on Tuesday, August 26. Although the teams played well, we were unable to defeat Northland.
Varsity competed in our first tournament of the season at Faith Academy Bellville. We placed 1st in our pool but fell short in the semi-finals and tied for 3rd place.
Monday evening, August 18, we had Meet the Eagles night in the RCS Gym.
