I truly hope that your summer is going well. We are all enjoying our summer and are busy planning for next school year. A good number of new students have been interviewed and we are happy to welcome them to RCS.

Back to school orientation and Meet the Teacher night – August 11

School starts – August 13 at 8:30 – wear chapel uniforms

Boys chapel uniform is navy slacks except until the weather cools down – wear navy shorts!

All class lists will be posted outside the classroom doors the night of orientation – not any sooner.

August 21 – New parent reception – 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The new chapel slogan for Lower School this Olympic year is:
“Through Christ Let’s Go for the Gold” and the kick-off verse is: “But thanks be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57. Preparing for and running the race of life is our first and last goal.
Three things to do right now to get your student off to a great start:
- read, read, read - have you child read every day or read to them every night
- start practicing a night-time routine of going to sleep at a set bed time – you would be surprised at how many students fall asleep after lunch the first 3 weeks of school.
- start practicing eating a good breakfast – a proven scientific fact is that eating a good breakfast improves brain function
And last but not least at all - pray for the administration, teachers, staff, students, and parents of Rosehill Christian School that this will be the best year yet!
